You know, she belongs to all of us, and we in the twirling world celebrate her every year when we give out the Northeast Regional Good Sportsmanship Award, as she was the inaugural winner & the inspiration behind the award. I would like to send my condolences to you all for the loss of Amy who I know was a great and courageous person who I knew when she was up at Camp Allen and did not want to come home because she had so much fun with me and Sherry. I just want tell you that I will be praying for Amy when I go to bed. You were lovely parents to Amy. She was one of the lucky people to have you as her parents. I will be praying that you will be comfortedin her loss.

Many years ago, I was lucky enough to have worked with Amy as a baton twirling coach. Her desire and will enabled her to acquire skills that should have been beyond her physical ability. Amy will continue to be an inspiration to any child I teach who needs her.
