OBITUARY:

Jane Clancy beloved daughter of the late Alfred F. and Mary (Shaughnessy) Clancy, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon January 9th.

Born in Woburn she attended St. Charles School and graduated with the Class of 1945. Following High School Jane furthered her studies at Regis College, Boston University and Fisher College.

In 1955 she secured a position at the Malden Trust Co. where she remained for the next thirty seven years. Very dedicated to her work, she began as a teller and had achieved Assistant Secretary of the Bank.

Throughout her tenure at the bank Jane had managed to do some traveling in both the United States and Europe. An avid follower of the Red Sox, she also enjoyed watching the many different golf matches on television.

A rather quiet and unassuming woman Jane was very talented when it came to knitting and crochetting. She had made many beautiful afghans, mittens, hats and sweaters over the years.

In addition to her parents, Jane was predeceased by her brothers John H. Clancy and Alfred J. Clancy Jr.
