STEPHEN J. KISIL - in Woburn, formerly of Winchester, suddenly, 56 years of age, beloved son of the late Walter F. and Cecile (Kearney) Kisil. Devoted brother of Anne S. Cully and her husband Paul of Westford, Michael A. Kisil and his wife Frances of S. Boston, Philip N. Kisil of Arlington, Julie M. Coates and her husband David of CA, John E. Kisil of Woburn and the late Walter "Wally" Kisil. Lovingly survived by his dear nieces and nephews, Julie, Brian, Jennifer and David. Also survived by his dear aunts and uncles. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Saturday, January 16th at 9:15. Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Interment in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester. Calling hours Friday 4 to 8 p.m. Donations may be made in Stephen's memory to the charity of your choice.
OBITUARY:
Stephen Kisil of Woburn, formerly of Winchester, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington after having been stricken at home. The beloved son of the late Walter F. and Cecile M. (Kearney) Kisil, he was fifty-six years of age.
Born in Boston, Stephen was raised in Winchester and was a graduate of Winchester High School, Class of 1971. Following high school, he was employed at Mirak Chevrolet in Arlington. For the past twenty years Stephen worked as a field engineer for Siemens.
Stephen was very devoted to his parents and his brothers and sisters, especially his brother Philip, with whom he had a very special relationship, and his nieces and nephews. He was a kind, quiet and unassuming gentleman who enjoyed his daily rituals and you could "set your watch by his schedule." Stephen was a member of the Winchester Elks and a Past Exalted Ruler.
In addition to his parents, Walter F. and Cecile (Kearney) Kisil, Stephen was predeceased by his brother, Walter F. "Wally" Kisil, Jr.
He is lovingly survived by his siblings, Anne S. Cully and her husband Paul of Westford, Michael A. Kisil and his wife Frances of S. Boston, Philip N. Kisil of Arlington, Julie M. Coates and her husband David of California, John E. Kisil of Woburn and his nieces and nephews, Julie, Brian, Jennifer and David. He is also survived by his dear aunts and uncles.
The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, January 16th at 9:15 a.m., followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Charles Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn at 10. Interment will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Winchester.
