Obituary
Teresa C. (Ross) Lynch passed away early Monday morning January 25th. She was the beloved wife of the late Gerard G. Lynch. Devoted mother of Martha A. Lynch of Woburn and Carole R. Paige of Woburn. Dear sister of Vera Breslin of Hopkington and the late Ellen Buck,Annette McGurn, Pamela Ross, her twin sister Frances and brothers Joseph, Domenic and Albert Lynch. Loving grandmother of Robert "Robbie" Paige, Loretta "Laurie" Brennick and great grandmother of Cheyenne and Taylor Rose. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A Funeral will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Wednesday January 27th at Noon. Relatives and friends may call an hour prior to the service beginning at 11a.m. Donations may be made in Mrs Lynch's memory to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
OBITUARY:
Teresa C. (Ross) Lynch passed away early Monday morning after a lengthly illness. She was the beloved wife of the lateGerard G. Lynch who passed away in 1970.
Born in Woburn she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Catherine (Goyle) Ross.
She moved to Lexington at an early age where she had attended school, graduating from Lexington High School. Following high school she went on to work for her Dad who owned a construction company. She worked in the office and was responsible for bringing the construction contracts to the State House.
In 1938 she married and moved back to Woburn and made her home in the Salem Street area. They brought two daughters into this world, to whom they were devoted. Mr. Lynch opened "Lynch's Market" in downtown Woburn, where Mrs. Lynch was the was the consumat gourmet chef. She would prepare from her home all of the speciality salads and dishes.
Mrs Lynch was a very quiet and unassuming woman who had a very artistic flair. Her paintings always captured the precise essence of whatever it was she was painting, be it seascapes, trees, models or a forests. She always possessed a wonderful sense of humor throughout her ninety eight years, always seeing the bright side and a cup that was half full.
Her love and devotion to her husband, daughters, dear grandchildren, and great grandchildren was constant and truly blossomed over her extraordinary ninety eight years.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Lynch was predeceased by her siblings Joseph, Domenic, Albert, and her twin sister Frances Lynch, Annette McGurn, Pamela Ross and Ellen Buck.
She is lovingly survived by her daughters Martha A. Lynch and Carol R. Paige both of Woburn, grandchildren Robert "Robbie" Paige and Loretta "Laurie" Brennick and great grandchildren Cheyenne Rose and Taylor Rose. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A Funeral will be held in the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn on Wednesday, January 27th at noon.
