Photo of William E. Mulrenan III WILLIAM E. MULRENAN III - age 50, of Reading and Woburn, July 17th. Beloved son of William E. Jr. and Mary P. (Cannon) Mulrenan. Loving brother of Patricia Harron and her husband William, Maryellen Mulrenan, and Elizabeth Robinson and her husband Mark, all of Woburn, and Diane MacDonald and her husband John of Dracut. Dear friend and longtime companion of Betty Malloy of Reading. Beloved uncle of twelve nieces and nephews. A Mass of Remembrance will be held on Wednesday, July 21st at 10 a.m. in St. Charles Church (lower church), 280 Main Street, Woburn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Memorial visitation will be held at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Tuesday from 5 to 8 p.m. Burial will be private. Donations may be made in Billy's memory to VNA Hospice Care, Inc., 100 Sylvan Road, G-500, Woburn, MA 01801.

OBITUARY:

William E. Mulrenan of Reading, formerly of Woburn, passed away on Saturday, July 17th, surrounded by his family, following a lengthy illness. The beloved son of William E. Jr. and Mary P. (Cannon) Mulrenan, he was fifty years of age.

Born and raised in Woburn, he graduated from Woburn High School with the Class of 1978. He went on to work in the fiber optic industry. He was proud of his Irish heritage and was a member of the Irish American Club.

Billy had a heart of gold and always had a smile on his face. He was happiest with his friends and family and loved vacationing at Hampton Beach. He was devoted to his dear friend, Betty Malloy of Reading.

Surviving, along with his parents, are four sisters: Patricia Harron and her husband William, Maryellen Mulrenan, and Elizabeth Robinson and her husband Mark, all of Woburn, and Diane MacDonald and her husband John of Dracut. He also leaves his dear friend and longtime companion, Betty Malloy of Reading, and twelve nieces and nephews.
