Loving aunt of Carole Torrice of Woburn and many other wonderful nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, July 24th, at 9:15 a.m. Funeral mass in St. Barbara's Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn, at 10. OBITUARY:

Grayce S. Langill, a lifelong resident of Woburn, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, July 20th at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston. The beloved wife of William H. Langill for over fifty-four years, she was eighty-one years of age.

Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Grace (Rizza) Torrice. She attended Woburn schools, graduating from Woburn High School with the Class of 1946. As a young girl she was hospitalized in Boston with rheumatic fever, and had the unique opportunity to meet and have her picture taken with Eleanor Roosevelt.

Following their marriage in 1954, Grayce and her husband Bill took up residence on Woburn's west side. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Grayce devoted herself to raising her five children and in recent years enjoyed spending time with her granddaughters and great-grandson. She maintained a close relationship over the years with her siblings and their families. Grayce enjoyed playing cards with her group of friends, working in her garden, and cooking.

Preceding her in death were her son, George H. Langill II, two brothers, Carl and Joseph Torrice, and a sister, Mary Beauchamp.

Surviving along with her husband Bill are a daughter, Patricia Langill of Woburn, three sons, William H., Jr. and James A. Langill, both of Woburn, and G. Robert Langill of Baltimore, Maryland, two granddaughters, Laura Grayce Yanakopulos and Kristina Marie Langill, and a great-grandson, Alexander Samuel Langill. She also leaves two brothers, Samuel and John Torrice, both of Woburn, three sisters, Anne LaCasse of Westwood and Ann Ridge and Kathleen Currier, both of Stoneham, her loving niece, Carole Torrice of Woburn and many other wonderful nieces and nephews..

The funeral will be held from the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Saturday, July 24th, at 9:15 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Barbara's Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn, at 10. Interment will follow in Woodbrook Cemetery, Woburn.

Calling hours at the funeral home are on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
