Devoted father of Frank Andrew "Drew" Lasley IV, DMD, and his wife Mandy Louis, DMD, of Bellevue, WA. Dear brother of Linda Straughn of Chapel Hill, NC. Also survived by his cherished granddaughter, Solaina. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch-Cantillon Funeral Home, 263 Main Street, Woburn, on Monday, June 25th, from 3 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a celebration of Dr. Lasley's life on Saturday, July 14th from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Cafe Escadrille, 26 Cambdridge Street, Burlington. OBITUARY:

FRANK ANDREW "ANDY" LASLEY III, DDS, died peacefully at home on June 20, 2012.

Andy was born in Staunton, Virginia in 1942 to Dr Frank A Lasley, Jr. and Marjorie B. Lasley.

He graduated from University of Richmond then completed his dental education at the Medical College of Virginia.

Andy and his wife Dotty, moved to Boston in 1968 where he pursued a residency, specializing in Periodontology at Boston University School of Dentistry. Later in his career, he completed the Implantology program at Harvard University.

His professional career was devoted to serving patients in the communities surrounding his private dental practice in Burlington from 1971 until his retirement in 2009.

A devoted clinician, Andy was very involved with the dental community. He taught at Boston University for several years. He served as the President of the Middlesex Dental society, President of the Massachusetts Periodontal Society and later as a Board member with the American Academy of Periodontology. In recognition of distinguished service he was given the Academy’s Fellowship Award.

Andy’s personal time was focused on family,in the pursuit of many outdoor activities and travel with family and dear friends.
